Monitor Problems

Hi, I'm new here, built my first build using the guide here, and now I've run into some problems on the initial bootup.

Here are the parts I used:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130491
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130283
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820141423

My vid card uses a dvi to vga converter, and when I plug my monitor and turn on the pc, nothing shows up. I get the yellow light. All my LEDs and fans turn on and I'm confused as to what to do right now. I'm sure my processor is seated correctly and so is my vid card.

Thanks to all that help.
