Hi everyone,
I just built my first computer about a week ago and I have a question about the voltage. I have PC Alert 4 running (it tells me temps, fan speeds, and voltages). I have noticed that on the +12V display it says 2.16 in red numbers. I was wondering what exactly this means and how bad is it? Also, how might I fix it? Thanks for your help. Oh yeah, here's my specs: AMD Athlon 64 4000+ MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum motherboard eVGA GeForce 6800 OC SE 256MB Video Card 2GB OCZ Platinum RAM Aspire 500W PSU Aspire X-Plorer Case WD 250GB SATAII HD DVD-RW Drive Leadtek TV Tuner Last edited by millertime214; 04-17-2006 at 04:03 PM. |

if that reading were true, your computer would not even turn on.
I waoud suggers that you scrap that program or set it correctly. you can read the temptures in the bios and the fan speed, maybe thats supposed to be reading 12.66 which would be normal and good. |
