quality psu

ive been told that buying a quality psu is critical to system stability. i am only looking at the list of sli certified psus for dual 7900gtx which have 512mb and require a good amount of power.
can i use this fortron source psu even though its only 600watts: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817104014
will i require more power in a machine with 2x7900gtx, asusa8n32 mobo, 2gb corsair ram and 1x10000rpm hdd and 1x7200rpm hdd, fx-60
fortron also has a 700 watt, is it that much better?

i cant afford those expensive pc power and cooling psus on the sli lsit. any other brands or psu i should consider, im looking for the most reliable with a good amount of power to keep my expensive system stable

That PSU will power your system fine. I checked and it is on the list of qualified PSU's for the dual 7900GTX setup (www.slizone.com)

If it is on the list, I would say probobly yes. The 600watt should work. Really, once you get over about 550 watts it's quality that you're looking for over quanity.

FSP is probably one of *the* best power supply manufacturer's out there...I think you'll be fine. It's got some very solid numbers on the rails (15a on each of the four 12V rails).
