PC temp?

I finally got all the parts and me and my dad built my pc.
I'm wondering though, what's a good temperature for the pc to operate at? My case has a cool little lcd screen that tells the temp.. I left the temp sensor like, just taped to a wall of the case to get the general case temperature. It's around 80 degrees farenheit now, which is normal I think. What is considered too hot though?

also, as I'm installing windows xp pro, it showed the paritions on my hdd, and it showed that I had none, just 250gb of unpartitioned space or so. If I just want 1 C drive, should I make 1 parition with all the space in it? or do I need no parition at all?

You will need to create a partition. The unpartitioned space won't show up in Windows XP unless it is assigned a drive letter. (Not sure if that's too confusing :P)

At any rate, it's simplest to assign all the space in your hard drive to the C drive, and then install Windows onto it.

Congratulations, and good luck!
