New Build with WIN XP and 2 HDD

As the title states I am building a new pc with WIN XP and 2 HDDs. The first is a WD Raptor 150 Gig that I will install all apps and the OS of course. The second is for multimedia and is primarily for storage. It is a WD Caviar at 250 Gig. The question I have is can I setup up the users folders on the second drive either during install or after. Also what is the best method to configure these drives for my PC I am also partioning one to be able to load a Linux OS as well.

Thanks in advance,
Rich

You won't really need 150GBs for your operating system and applications. It would make sense to partition off 30GBs or so during the initial install of windows, leaving the rest of the Raptor, and the entire Caviar unformatted.

Once Windows is installed, partition the drives as you want using Disk Management. My suggestion would be to partition around 100GBs on the raptor for more data, leaving the remainder unformatted for your Linux install.

Then format the Caviar how you wish; I'd leave it as one partition and organise data in folders.
