I've got a problem

I had to RMA my first Asus A8N5X motherboard because of a bad chipset fan. Now that I've installed the new one I can't get my windows desktop to show up. I get video up and through the point that the Windows XP logo appears and then when it's suppose to switch to the desktop I get nothing. Do I need to re-install anything?

I forgot to add that everything worked fine with the first board.
