New build help needed

Hi guys

i would like to know if i should use a RAID setup or not when building my own Home PC ,not sure if best way togo is 1 hard disk for WinXP and Games and the other hard disk for Backups.

System setup details - Intel Pentium 4 630 3G with HT ,Zalman CNPS7000B-Cu Cooler ,ASRock 775XFire-eSata2 ,2x1G Kingston Value ram 533 , 2x WDC WD2000JD Sata hard drives ,Nvidia GeForce 7800GT 256Mbs GDDR3.

I wouldn't use it...it's up to you though. I think it's better to do what you said, one for the OS and Apps, and another for backup and storage.

Did you get the rest of the parts yet (that you listed)?

Hi blue60007

Yes i have got all the parts that i listed and a ATX XION case with an Q-TEC 650Watt power unit plus two DVD rw drives .
