Crossfire system question

Im making a new system with 2 1800 series cards, my question is this.
When making the system would it be prudent to hook up both cards from the get go, or just put 1 in for now, get everything installed, then switch over to crossfire. It just seems like to me that, that might be to much crap put on, without even an OS installed.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you.

Hi Daergeth,

Welcome to PC Mechanic !!

I'd definitely go with one card to start with. Get everything up and running just right, then "mess"with the second card.
