This is a bit odd... :(

Okay, first some relevant specs.
Case: Aspire X-Cruiser
PSU: Rosewill 500w
Processor: AMD Athalon 64x2 3800+ dual core

Here's a puzzler, I set up my computer according to the guide I found on this site. The computer worked, hooray! I got my computer to the menu that I booted from my motherboard disk. I figure, "Great, Now I will plug in all my fans and optional LEDs for my case!" So, I turn off my computer, and start to plug in all my fans and Case LEDs, I turn on the computer again, all the leds and fans come on, Hooray! But wait, I noticed that my monitor was not getting a signal. So I figure the graphics card must be doing something weird, so I hit the power button on my computer, Error time! Nothing happens, I hit it again! Still nothing, so from a panic reflex, I hit the power switch on my PSU. Everything turns off. Now, My computer will not turn on again! The power button does nothing, I can even see the LED on my motherboard is turned on! I don't get any error beeps,nothing. The computer just sits there. I've tried shorting the mother board out side of the case, still. Freakin. Nothing. I am, needless to say, very frusterated. If any of you guys have any reason to believe that I have a faulty part, please tell me how to fix it.
