What are P4 650 3.4MHz 800FSB Idle Temperatures

I checked the temperature of my cpu and found it to be 52C. I am in the process of assembling my pc, and everything is out of the case.

Connected to the Asus P5LD2 Deluxe motherboard at the time of the check were the following components:

P4 650 3.4MHz 800FSB cpu
OCZ DDR2 PC2-5400 667MHz memory (2x1024MB)
MSI NX7800GT video card
Enermax Liberty 500W psu
monitor
keyboard

The cpu was idling when I checked it. Ambient temperature was 16C. Does anyone have any data on their temps for this particular cpu?

Is 51C too hot?

I have a 631 P4 on a P5DL2-VM that idles around 36C. You might want to double check that the Intel heatsink is installed properly...those pins are kind of hard to set correctly. I installed the heatsink with the motherboard out of the case so I could be sure that the pins were fully pushed through and locked properly.
