WinXP Home will be fine.

Performance wise, WinXP Pro does not perform any better than WinXP Home. It just has more networking and security features built into it.

Send a message via AIM to Alaron
Get a hard drive that uses SATA, and has a 16mb cache. Seagate and Western Digital are my picks.

A 16MB cache vesion would be better. Look on Newegg.com - they have an 250GB SE16 for $90 minus a $10 MIR...$80 ain't a bad deal...infact I ordered one for myself the other day.
