Help please!!

I have recently built a computer and these are my parts:

Amd athlon 3000+
kingston 512mb memory
Nvidea 7300 graphics card
Asus A8N-E motherboard
MAxtor diamond plus 10 sata 2 hard drive
lite-on dvd-rw

When i start my computer everything goes well.until i get to the second screen which my computer displays.
It says:
f1.....dos
f2.....???
Default:f1

if i press f1 it says:

Freedos FAT kernel GO!
press any key to boot from cd rom...

I press any key and it says

Loading 1st stored boot sector...ok!
Loading freeDOS FAT

What does this mean?
And how can i install windows xp?
Since i only have to install windows to get my computer running
(it's a recntly built computer from scratch)

Put your win xp cd in the drive and reboot. It will ask if you would like to boot from cd. After it starts up it is mostly automated. HTH

Do you know how to go into the BIOS and change the boot order?

Does it enter the XP set up screen at all?
Is that a genuine copy of XP or a pirate copy?
Besides the monitor, keyboard and mouse what else do you have plugged into the machine?
