Please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have recently built a new computer from scratch and these are my parts:

Amd athlon 3000+
kingston memory 512mb
nvidea 7300gs
MAxtor diamond plus hard drive sata 2

When i start my computer everything goes well.until i get to the second screen which my computer displays.
It says:
f1.....dos
f2.....???
Default:f1

if i press f1 it says:

Freedos FAT kernel GO!
press any key to boot from cd rom...

I press any key and it says

Loading 1st stored boot sector...ok!
Loading freeDOS FAT

What does this mean?
And how can i install windows xp?
Since i only have to install windows to get my computer running
