video card not working

hi,
i am not a beginner but not extremely advanced. i am puttin together a computer with these components:

motherboard:Asus A8n-E
processor: AMD athlon 64 3400+
ram: 512mb ddr400
video: e-geforce 6200 turbo cache

the other components dont really matter right now. not in this list. heres the problem....

i connect everything, double checked it sooooo many times. cut it on....no display. ive tried everything. everything is connected properly. i have no clue what can go wrong. any suggestions? i need some ideas asap if possible. thanks

Are the lights on, fans spinning, hard drive spinning?

Do you get any beep codes?

power light on motherboard is on. all fans running. all lights elsewhere come one. i even tried that sticky7 posted up top about only connecting certain things. still no vid.no beep codes either
