Any suggestions for my first build?

Hello folks,
This will be the first PC I build! I'm looking forward to the experience. I have read many guides online on how to build a system plus I myself am pretty computer savy (atleast I think). Anyway, I'm going all out here; so give me any sugestions or tips that you think might help me. Any advice given is greatly appreciated.

The PC:

I know Vista and DX10 are not to far, but my current PC is hurting when it comes to gaming and programming work.

Looks good to me. My only suggestion is to pick up another, larger hard drive for storage. 150GB can fill up fast with lots of games.

I hope you don't have heating problems with all that power. SLI 7900 GTX. Wow. Pretty serious for your first build. Just make sure your system is kept cool, and that will last you for a long time.

Good point, I'm contemplating putting my 300GB HD in their from my current system.

As for cooling, I hope stock cooling will suffice. I have a pretty good HS and fan combo for my processor. If things start to get unstable the case is big enough for me to add whatever cooling is necessary.

Think this Heatsink/Fan combo will work well for the CPU?

Yeah, it'll work great. However, why don't you give stock cooling a go? It should work fine. Also that's a huge cooler, so I would put it together first and make sure it will even fit (that won't even fit in my case - the XP-90 barely fits).

With 2x GTX cards there is no room for a PhysiX card correct? I may go for a 7950GX2 in that case.

You might be able to slide a PhysX card into the last PCI slot, but the size of the coolers on the 7900GTX's you chose might be too large. But I would skip the PhysX card for now. There aren't enough games that support it. And those that do aren't helped much by it yet.
