Video-Editing/Gaming?
What would be a great video card for high-end Video-Editing/Gaming? With more emphasis on the Video-Editing than the gaming.

Video editing isn't nearly as demanding as gaming. There's little difference to be found in applying effects and transitions to video projects. If you're wanting dual monitors, you'll have to check card specs for that.

ATI cards are known for thier display purposes while nVidia is favored for its "gaming" performance. However your budget will dictate the quality of your card. If you can give us a number to work with, suggestions will start rolling in.

Price range, please - and do you need AGP or PCI-E?
EDIT: Please do not start a new thread, you already have one going on your build. Thread closed. Last edited by glc; 06-05-2006 at 02:15 PM. |
