Just a little confused on mem capatability...
Im Building my first computer and the mobo i got had a DDR Standard of DDR 400(pc 3200)
but the memory im looking at is compatible in every way except that its DDR 500(pc 4000) Is there any reason to worry about compatibility? |

While it depends on the exact memory brand and the exact motherboard (some are picky), in general memory is backwards compatible, so the faster DDR500 memory will work at DDR400 speeds. Buying the faster memory won't do you any good unless you plan on overclocking, though.
