You probably won't need the XMS RAM unless you seriously plan on overclocking your setup. The XMS isn't really any faster compared to the ValueSelect. It's just easier to overclock with that.
You can save a bit with the ValueSelect, unless you can get a better deal. |

Yea, I really don't plan on overclocking so I'll take your advice on that. My main issue is the mobo and the cpu i picked out good? And will I have any problems working with them |

That's only 855.94, but anyways, are you sure your PSU can handle that card? It depends on how old your PSU is, but if you could tell us, it would be nice.

Yes, we'd probably like to know your PSU manufacturer and voltage, just to check for any future problems.
And yes, you can just take the floppy drive out of your old Dell, it should fit. |

That PSU will not work with that motherboard. New motherboards, including your choice, use 24pin connections for the ATX power. That power supply only has a 20pin. You need to replace it. This would be a great choice: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103931

You will also need an OS. The OEM version of XP is about $90.

I would not use a P5GV-MX for a build like that - it's a micro ATX board with onboard video designed for budget office builds. Get a P5LD2 and DDR2-533 ram.
