Tell us more about the "noise". Where is it coming from, what's making the noise?

The first step is to try an out-of-case build: http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=132409

Kareeser has the best suggestion. Also, are you using the same power supply from the old case or did the new case come with a new power supply? If its a new one, what is the make and wattage?

the noise was comeing from the power supply , but i have decided to leave it and put everything back in the old case , as the new one seems to be all for different motherboards to mine.

and now in the old case i can get the fans to spin for about a second , nothing boots up not sure whats goign on . and the noise has stoped

and i dont think i have shocked anything , i have been carefull

any ideas whats going on , or if i have missed something

Pull it all back out and do the "out of case build" that Kareeser pointed you to first of all, this will help determine if you are grounding the motherboard to the case.

What brand and model was the old pc?
Did you use the old power supply, or the one that came with the new case?
What brand and model is the power supply in the new case?
If the old setup was from a name brand and you used the power supply that came with the new case, there might have been compatibility issues.
Many name brand computers use proprietary wiring assignments.
In that case you might very well have fried something.
Also the power supply that came with the new case might be generic junk that just can't handle the load.
