Disk Boot Error- enter fixes it?
Ever since I added a floppy drive to my computer I get a disk boot failure message when i turn it on. I press enter a lot really fast and eventually windows just starts to boot up. I dont want to have to do that to get my computer running, so whats going on?

Is the floppy drive connected correctly? Do you have a disk in the drive?
If nothing else, go into your BIOS and change the boot order so that the computer boots from the hard drive before it boots from the floppy. That way, it won't check the floppy before it boots into Windows. |

In all honestly, I really don't know if this will help, but try it anyways.
Open the BIOS and look under your boot priority list. If the only thing listed is the Floopy Drive, this could be causing the issue. Make the harddrive the first item on the boot priority list and try again.
