Thumbs down New build problem

ok. i put together my computer and everything was on, but there was no display. i did the out of case build, and still i got the same problem. i'm not sure what's wrong so any help would be great

Can you please list your full sys specs (including brand/spec of the power supply)?

case - antec sonata ii with smart power 2.0 supply
motherboard - asus a8n9x
cpu - amd athlon 64 3500+
ram - corsair value select ddr 184 pin 512x2
video card - evga nvidia geforce 7600gt
hard drive - sata 1.5 seagate barracude 7200.7 120 gb
floppy - sony 1.44
optical - lite-on dvd/cd with burner

You've done the out-of-case build, good. Have you tried running the minimum. Just power supply, CPU, RAM, video? That would ensure none of the drives are messing something up. Also, triple check all the connections...especially the 2x2 (black and yellow) 12V plug around the CPU area.

Sure thing...it's a pretty common thing around here...it's easy to miss simple things like that. We've all done it. Feel free to come back if you have any more issues.
