Updated Computer Wont Boot Up

Hi there,

I posted a thread earlier here about the best way to update my computer. I figured I'd make a new thread because it is now a different issue and doesn't follow under the old title so I shouldn't tack it on. If this isn't what I was supposed to do, I am sorry and please merge them together.

Anyways, I successfully transfered the old components into the new case and put in the new video card and power supply. I checked all the cables and everything and everything looks ok. I plugged in the monitor, power cord, keyboard, and mouse and turned on the computer. The power light goes on for like a second, the fans (cpu and psu) spin for a few seconds, then it all powers down. I am really confused and want this to work and would greatly appreciate any help

Thanks,
Matt

Have a read of this thread http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=132409 and then carry out an "Out of Case Build".

According to the other thread, it appears that it's working. Thread closed.
