For the parents

Alright after the smashing success with my personal build, with thanks to Ammo, its time to build one for the parents. Just picked the parts that I used but if other parts would work better than let me know. The PC will be used for just Internet, paying bills online and storing a ton of pictures. There wanting to reuse the monitor, speakers???, keyboard and mouse. This computer needs to be one that will last since there still rocking Win 98.

A 300 gig hard drive and 1 (yes, ONE) gig of ram is more than enough for that use. You forgot a video card, I'd recommend something like a Radeon X550 that does NOT have Hypermemory. Another option is a 945G chipset board with onboard video. A 940 is kind of overkill, save some money and get a 930. You also need a case - an Antec Sonata II is a nice conservative case and comes with a high quality power supply. You can drop the DVD-ROM drive to keep things simple - the burner will read and burn anything.
