I don't like any of that stuff or where you are buying it from. You are mismatching a lot of stuff and overpaying too. You do not need 3 optical drives, a single DVD burner can read and burn anything. Here is a much better list from a much better vendor, comparable pricing.
Case - Antec Sonata II (with QUALITY power supply) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811129155 Motherboard - Asus P5LD2 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131538 Processor - Pentium D 930 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819116238 Optical - Lite-On DVD burner http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106019 Memory - Corsair value select dual channel kit http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145568 Hard drive - Seagate 160gb SATA http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148105 Video card - eVGA 7600GT http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130017 If you want a fancy looking case, get one without a power supply and buy a decent separate power supply. The vast majority of preinstalled power supplies are low quality. Here's the only one I care for that's under 50 bucks: XClio 450 watt http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817189003 |

depends what u use it for, value ram is not that good for overclocking, but it is stable. if you want overclocking ram then get HyperX or XMS ram, not the basic value ram.

Huh, looks like Corsair is having quality problems with DDR2 at the moment. I would look at Kingston, OCZ, or G.Skill though. Last I heard of GEIL, they where shipping with weird voltage levels that you would have to reset before it would run well. It looks like they have changed that practice with DDR2, but I would look at one of the other brands I listed and see what heir prices are.

Well the timings on the OCZ are better, but it's a very small improvment. If you don't mind waiting for the rebate, go with the OCZ. If you want the cheapest, the G.Skill you linked to above would be fine.

The best way to share internet with the router is run a cable from the computer to the router. If you have to go wireless, get a matching PCI wireless card - preferably the same brand and type as the router. In other words, if you have a Linksys "G" router, get a Linksys "G" card.
