Meh First Time

lol...

Hey guys, im here posting my first build. I did one awhile ago, but now I actually have the means to pay for it. lol. Also, if you notice any non-capatable parts tell me, im sorta new to this.

Ok so im recycling my floppy drive, cd/dvd rom, monitor (might get on down the line), and speakers. So those arnt needed.

and heres the parts I have

You might want to switch the RAM to something that ASUS has on their QVL list.

Aight, I took that into consideration and got some ram that was on the list (also bumped it down to 1 gig to save costs)

and I was thinking of changing the video card.

they are pretty much the same, just a different manufacturer. I'll probably eventually get another for sli. What do you guys think?

I'd advise against that, eVGA are considered the top quality manufacturer for Nvidia cards. At any rate, the eVGA model is actually cheaper after the MIR.

The rest of your parts look good.

Well your kinda downgrading there buddy. Your initial choice is a good brand and comes factory overclocked (faster) then the less reliable brand. Not to mention your paying more..
