Power Supply Question
I am in the process of ordering all the components for my 1st computer building project and have a small (and probably) dumb question. I already have my motherboard in which is an
Asus P4S800D-X and looking for a case. I am very interested in the Antec TX640B with built in power supply. My question is this: The motherboard booklet says the power supply needed is a 20 pin model, the Power Supply in the case if im not mistaken is a 24 pin. Do they make adapters or should I scrap that power supply for one with a 20 pin. Thanks for your assistance to this computer building newbie. |

The power supply in that case has a detachable 4 pin section on the connector so that you can use it on a 20 pin board. No converter needed.
