multiple fans = air flow issues?

I'm wondering if multiple fans will cause a problem if they are facing each other.

There is the heatsink fan on the processor, the fan on my power supply is facing down (like how a ceiling fan is facing, not the traditional facing the back side) and I have a system fan that is on the back of the case. Since all 3 fan are using the air in the same area, does this affect the air flow? Although they are not facing each other directly, it makes sense with a fan blowing on another fan, that one or the other or both have to "work harder" to compensate for the resistance given by the other. Obviously the PSU and heatsink fan need to be on. I guess my question is should I disconnect the system fan that is on the back of the case?

There is a sort of plastic shield that is suppose to go right over the heatsink fan to direct air flow from the side of the case, but it does not line up perfectly.

Attached is a picture of all the fans. (The fan on the PSU is through that grated area.)

That is a typical setup in almost every computer. There's no cause for worry. Remember that the PSU fan is intake and the case fan should be setup as exhaust. So both are pulling the hot air away from the CPU.

As long as your temperatures are cool, which they should be with that setup, enjoy the computer.

Being the first build, there are so many things I never thought about and I worry about now...

But thanks Alaron! I can start enjoying it now. =)
