So I just built a computer and I dodged a bullet with the motherboard not working, and I finally got it to work, but then another problem arose: Nothing will show up on my monitor. I don't know if it's the video card or what, but I'm getting really mad. So if you can help that would be great.

Can you list your full sys specs including your power supply unit? Have you tested the monitor with a different system? Do all the fans (case and CPU) spin when booting up? Have you checked whether or not the graphics card requires a supplemental power connector?

Also make sure you have the square 2x2 12V (yellow and black wires) plugged in. It's usually around the CPU. How do you know you have the motherboard working if you aren't getting any video?

I did something silly on my build this week. I wasn't getting video and i was just sitting there scratching my head. Ended up that my monitor was not on the digital input, it was set to the VGA. I'm such a dummy!
