Budget Pc Help Please?

I am building a budget pc
my budget is 500 dollars

Is it possible to build a 500 dollar system with

1gig ram (tiger sells "ultra ram") (is that good?)
256 meg video card (agp or pci express) (don't care)
dvdrom/cdburner combo
80+ gig sata HD
400+ watt PSU
AMD or Intel CPU (whichever is better or cheaper)
Decent Motherboard( agp or pci express)(don't care)
Decent Case with good cooling but not ugly
Optical mouse/regular keyboard
Don't need a monitor.

I would like this system to be able to play Oblivion if that is possible. If it isn't....i am still open to suggestions minus Oblivion Compatiblity. Right now the only game i play is Diablo 2 but i am thinking about trying Guild Wars. And i also do alot of graphic and web design so multi tasking is one of my main priorities. Also Which is better...Newegg or Tiger Direct? I have bought from Tiger before and they seem to have better prices. What other good Online stores are there?
Oh and whats up with these MGP slots? They support agp video cards....but supposedly it makes them better?

I just found this...
What do you guys think?

Thanx in advance

Buying from Tiger direct is definitely not good...they have horrible customer service (or lack thereof), and that's just the start of things. You would want to go with PCI-E - it'll be cheaper...honestly, you are going to be hard pressed to build a decent gaming right for $500. Oblivion needs a heck of a system to play well (you should still be able to run it - just not at ultra high settings)

I would take that system you linked to and try and come up with a parts list/pricing as individual parts...there was just a huge drop in AMD CPU prices yesterday - so that will definitely help.

Also, I hope you are not set on a 256MB video card...you will probably ahve to do with a 128MB card - and avoid any Turbocache or Hypermemory cards - those just steal system memory...
