Good Gaming PC? Specifications Inside.
Usage - Strictly Gaming, how fast is this, are there any known incompatibility issues that come to mind? I've never built a PC before but am eager to do so. Point a fool in the right direction.

What specific power supply is that?
Check the DFI site for an approved RAM list or use the RAM makers configurator to be sure that what you order is compatible. DFI makes good boards, but they can be a little tricky to get running right. ASUS might be better for a first build. I would change the second hard drive to a Seagate or Western Digital with 16Mb cache, about 250Gb is the best price/ capacity right now. You might need a floppy drive at some point in the setup, download the manuals from the parts makers and check them. They are handy to have anyway for troubleshooting. For The OS the OEM version of XP Home w/SP2 will be fine, unless you need some specific feature of XP Pro or want the Media Center Edition. Avoid the 64 bit version, it is still having problems with things like driver support.
