wooot! new comp!

Well guys im proud to announce i built my first computer! For those who wanted to know, i got the PSU and new case from new egg within about 2weeks and everything fired up. I thank everyone who helped me through with my questions as well. Now i have one more final question (hopefully) im at the point in time where im updating Windows and the Drivers, now how do i know what drivers i need to update? Do i just check Device Manager and look for any errors concerning there? If so i already have and dont see anything that has an errors. And i wanted to ask if the NVIDIA firewall was suffcient enough to protect my computer or should i get zone alarm as well? Thanks!

The Nvidia firewall is a pain in the neck. All you need is a router (if you have broadband) and the XP SP2 firewall.

I assume you installed all the drivers off the motherboard CD and the CD's that came with the other components? That should be fine for now, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Yup i downloaded the drivers, off the Mobo cd and Video card Cd, thats about it.. I skipped some things on the Mobo cd disk but one thing i wanted to download i couldnt it was the "Make Nvidia Sata Raid Driver Disk" i was trying to install these, but it told me couldnt read off the cd and told me to get a floppy and do it from there, well i dont have a floppy drive on my new computer. Im not sure if i even need to install that driver disk or not?

You don't need it if it's working. That's for doing the initial Windows install if needed.
