need help first build

im going be getting a computer from an auction from about $40 Canadian has 1 gb ram 512 gb video card and dvd burner ect. not sure on what motherboard ect it is as im yet to buy it but can anyone recommend like usb external drives and any other external components like flash drives ect that i can buy must be able to ship to canada.

Can you elaborate a bit? What kind of external drives are you looking for? What do you want to do with one?

Why external? You can just go with internal and install them yourself in your system.

Lol ... yeah. Internal components are way cheaper. But if you want external components, it can save a lot of money to buy an internal component of your desire, then get an enclosure, instead of getting it premade.

Oh ya. I agree with that 100%. Those external devices you buy in a store are marked up way too high. Buy an internal hard drive, DVD drive, whatever, and buy one of these external enclosures for it. This way you are also garenteed to get the quality you want, rather then last years model that didn't sell great on it's own stuck in a box.
