Pressing delete to enter BIOS does nothing!
First time build here. Everything powered up and came up like I believe it should. The screen displayed and it recognized my processor and memory. It didn't say anything (good or bad) about my harddrive, CD, or DVD. I don't see any error messages.
When I press Delete to try to enter BIOS, I get nothing. I wondered if the keyboard was bad, so I switched keyboards. They both blink the num lock and caps lock LEDs when connected, but I can't turn caps lock on or get the LED to stay on. I read all the posts to see if there was something similar. One post for a similar but different issue said to press Delete right after the power button. When I do that, the same top part of the screen comes on, but at the bottom, instead of the Del to enter BIOS message, it simply says "Prepare to enter BIOS," but again, nothing happens. Any suggestions? Thanks! |

Try removing the battery for awhile and/or using the jumper on the mobo to reset your bios to defaults.

Just a shot in the dark but are the keyboards USB? If so try a ps2 keyboard if you can get a hold of one. HTH
