case fan question

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowIm...Fan+%2D+Retail

see that case fan... it has 2 connectors it seems, or do you just connect one of them?

i know ive been posting some pretty lousy questions lately, but i need to be all set before i order.

if your curious, i plan on getting 4 case fans total in an x-cruiser. 1x120mm in the back (exhaust) to replace the 80mm, 2x80mm in the front (intake), and 1x80mm at the top (exhaust).

That's called a pass-through connector. It's designed so you can install the connector between the power lead from the power supply and a optical drive or you can just leave the other end empty.

Or you can just daisy chain a few of the fans together.

Thanks, and is the Antec TruePower II 550w PSU going to have 4 molex connectors for what I need? Also, should I daisy chain the two front fans?

The Antec has plenty of molex connectors, certainly more than 4. You can daisy chain your fans, but put them on their own molex chain, rather than sharing with other components.

Just don't daisy anything to your HDD, it is just good habit not to.

Lol, okay, thanks for the help. But will these fans automatically adjust based on heat? If not, that's fine since I have four fans. I really want a quiet computer lol.

The fans you linked to does not look like they automatically adjust to heat.

If you want to automatically or manually control the fans look into these options:

You can hook them up to the "fan only" connectors of the PSU. It supplies voltage based on PSU internal temperature. But in my experience, it barely provides enough voltage to get the fans started (in some cases, not at all).
