Hi,
I want to build a file server, web server, print server, proxy server and exchange server using RAID 5. could you tell me if its possible to have all this services in one domain computer without compromising on the speed and quality of the services. I also want to know, is it possible to start all the services and the users can avail the services from any location. if yes then HOW? regards Keith |

It really depends upon how many users you are planning on supporting. Microsoft's best practices state that a domain controller shouldn't run Exchange or SQL Server. A lot of people do run those on domain controllers. If by proxy server you mean ISA Server, then you will need a fairly beefy machine for that as well. I would say, although it's a moot point if you only have 10 users or so, to have two computers:
1. Domain controller, File Server and Print Server on one. 2. Exchange, ISA and Web Server on the other.
