Where is the video card?
That Aspire PSU is garbage. Get something else like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817189003 What inputs does your LCD TV have? If it has S-Video (and it probably does), then a video card with an S-Video out will allow you to use your LCD TV. |

Look into Antec cases. They are great and come with very good psu.
look into 250gb 16mb western digital hd. 79$ on newegg stay away from prebuild liquid cooling they suck. Good fan set up will do you just as good if not better. An antec case will be just fine for cooling. you still need a video card as well. A 7600gt looks like it will fit you well. but you could opt for the 7900gt. |

Skip the liquid cooling system if you want water do it right and do it custom. Which btw you wont get a decent one for under 150-200.
I suggest you go with a asus board. Get some corsair ddr2 800 instead of that ocz. AM2 is really picky with ram. I really suggest you get a sata hard drive.

Are you planning on doing SLI? If so, you will need an SLI-certified PSU. I would recommend against it as SLI really isn't cost-effective; in that case, the XClio will be good enough.

Instead of ATA go with Serial ATA HDDs.

Raidmax PSUs are not that great either.
Go with a good brand from this list: http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=131195 |

Great build. If anything I could suggest you getting a sapphire brand card, they tend to be cheaper and no difference in quality or performance, but you wont be unsatisfied with that asus either.
Epower isnt that bad, but I still wouldnt trust them over something else in the same price range, I suggest you opt for a antec truepower III, fsp blue storm, ocz gamextreme, or anything silverstone or seasonic. Something like this would be good: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817256001 or http://www.svc.com/neohe500.html Last edited by Mr.Ferrari; 08-17-2006 at 03:52 PM. |
