I would take a look at the Antec Sonata II, excellent case with a quality power supply for a great price.

I would not go with ECS motherboards, they have a poor reputation. Along with that, I would skip Crossfire, it is not a very strong performer. For gaming on a budget, one card is best. Go with the Asus M2N-E motherboard, it is very solid.

Switch the hard drive to one with SATA and a 16MB cache.

Do you already have optical drives?

E-Power isn't a bad PSU brand.

Pick anything besides the ecs mobo. Since your interested in crossfire why not go intel? Better cpu and motherboard choices for that kinda platform, however its your final decision.
Asus would be the best option there.

One more thing, going on the assumption once again that your interested in crossfire as you picked a crossfire mobo. You'll need a very beefy powersupply. Even without crossfire do not use the psu in that case, if you really want case + psu go with the one alaraon suggested. Otherwise you'll need a more tougher psu if going dual card.

Another thing, Im assuming your interested in X1800 crossfire. Which btw can be hard to find and youll need a X1800XT to match up to the speeds of the crossfire edition. If you get a x1800gto2 your first card will be extremely downclocked/bottlenecked to run at GT02 speeds, So keep that in mind.

True, but the power supply in the case picked out does not have the dual 12V rails that any PCI-E build should have. The Sonata does.

Epower's oem is Topower. Topower's quality varys heavily from some of the best psu's ever made to one of the quirkiest. For example, the ocz Powerstream 520, made by topower, one of the most stable railed, beefiest psu's to hit the market in that time, still considered one of the best for single rail in the 100 price range, only second to silverstones own 56ZF single rail unit. And Tagan, which is also one heck of psu.

They although can decline a bit down to Mushkin's HP 550W series and epower.

Truth be told, the quality of the units that epower can be a bit shoddy, they might not blow up, but will be supplying some questionable power. But, nonetheless, they are a little notch up the scale when compared to something like ultra x2/xconnect series. They are decent.
Overall, more of a eh so so unit. Not that bad, but theres is definately better for the price, ok...maybe 10 bucks above it heh .

If you could, get atleast a x1800 so you can run fear on mostly high. It's worth it.
