Question XP slow down - Upgrade ?

Hi,

I have a PC that was custom assembled in 01 - ASUS CUSL2-C with PIII 1000 512 Meg RAM (max ram for the board) - when we had a new machine built (P4 3Gig) I had both loaded with XP Home SP2 and hard wire networked.

The PIII machine is mainly used for word processing, but is much slower now that it is networked and printing to the Epson RX500 thru the P4 machine.

I understand that there are issues with re-registering the XP after a motherboard & cpu upgrade.

Suggestions PLEASE !

Thanks,

BKB
