Do you plan on gaming? I don't think that video card is a good choice at all. Look at the 7600gt as an alternative.

a little gaming, nothing hardcore. the 7600gt looks nice, but it might be a little out of my price range. I'm looking at the $800's.

$800 is the minimum budget I would recommend for a gaming system. Do you need speakers, a mouse or a keyboard? I'd be more than happy to list some components for you, just need some more information. Also, you can build a system for $800 using a dual core AMD processor, I just need one more piece of information: how often do you upgrade your computer?

-Just fyi, a dvdburner does have dvd rom capabilities.

-Well if your going to be gaming, the minimum I would say would be a 7600Gt or a X1600XT. Anything lower then that and you'll be turning the detail very low.

Some other good choices if you need to go cheaper would be the X1300 series or 7300GT series, bewarned though, not very good gamers, but will play somewhat decently.

-And your missing a psu.
I suggest this one:

Any reason for 2 80gigs? You can just get one 160g for a lower price and just partition it.
