Question New build raid and XP problems

Do SATA drives need to be formated? How? I am assuming that this is why XP will not load.

At this point the computer gives me 4 options:
1. Make ULi 32/64 bit RAID Driver Disk. I have made this disk but don't know what to do with it nor know if I should do anything with it.
2. Quick Format Floppy Disk. works
3. Normal Format Floppy Disk. works
4. FreeDOS command prompt. This goes to a DOS command prompt.
Please choose 1`4:

Please fill me in! Thanks.

The new build is a
ASUS P5RD1-VM,
2-512MB PC3200 crucial ballistix,
P4 650 3.4G,
SATA2 WD2500KS 16M Western Digital. 2 of these set up as a mirror,
Enermax 485W Noisetaker,
Lite On super all write DVD burner IDE,
Sony DVD dual layer burner IDE,
An old HP 3.5 floppy.

Make the driver floppy on another machine, and pop it in at the F6 to load 3rd party drivers prompt.
