reality check for upgrade

constantly playing catch-up, im looking to upgrade my system in my sig, but as always i cant decide what to do.

i want to make the shift to PCIe but i dont want to buy a crossfire board as i probably will not buy two graphics cards until they come right down in price.

mainboard: (is skt 939 DFI LP ultra D NF3 AGP) i like the look and price of the DFI LP Ultra D NF4 PCIe board,

graphics: (is sapphire X800XTPE) upgraded to sapphire X1900XT 512MB, cant justify the cost of an XTX

monitor: (is LG 1915s 19") Samsung 21" 215TW available in UK from 01/09/06 (but on the edge of my budget)

the rest will stay the same ie: cpu, ram, sound etc

to the more experienced than me, with the imminent release of the X1950 XT or XTX, Vista, directX 10, SKT 939 discontinued,

what would you do and when?

(this PC is purely for gaming, mostly BF2)

to futher my confusion, i started looking at LCD HD TV's as an alternative to a high end monitor,

whats the reality of using an LCD HD TV for PC and gaming?
meaning picture quality, resolution, responce time etc
my VGC came with so called HD (RGB component females)output, but i read somewhere that ATI cards dont actually support HD output.

this is the TV im looking at
