Monitor not coming on

I hooked everything up on the motherboard, can you tell me why the monitor is not coming on?

yes i plugged it in....im not an ideot man. the monitot is on but says no signal... and then computer is on, and all fans are running. but the signal is not being sent.. cpu, video card, and ram are all firmly seated

That's a junk PSU with the case...I would replace it with something quality (Antec, FSP, Sparkle, to name a few). Did you try the procedure in the link I posted? You didn't list your motherboard...which do you have?

Make sure the video card is seated in corectly and all power cords are plugged in properly, check for bent pns etc too.

make sure the video card is in right
also, if you have another pc you could try hooking your monitor up to that, maybe its your monitor?
