Noob Question

Ok............the power supply to the CPU (4 pin connector) is to short its not connected and when I cut it on there is nothing showing on the monitor. Is the non-connected power cord the reason why?

If so, what are they called so I can call around to get an extension cord.
(If anyone has tips on who sales them let me know)

Yes, you need the 4 pin connector plugged into the mother board for the system to work. Those connectors are also called 2x2 plug.
