After much hairpulling and cursing..
Im attempting to setup my first Raid 0 and i have a few problems. Now i dont have a problem with setting the raid up in bios, thats fine its the hardware/software problems im having.
My motherboard is an ASUS M2N32 SLI Wireless Deluxe, My bios version is 302 i think as i didnt write it down. Basically i cant load my raid drivers because my floppy isnt working, After checking it out and trying 2 other floppies i searched the net and found out my motherboard has problems with floppy drives not working correctly. A handfull of sites suggest updating the bios to the newest version and that sould solve my problem with the floppy. Any of you guys have this board with similiar problems? I pulled my new hard drives out and put in my old single hard drive so i could get into windows and use the ASUS update utility to get my new bios. Haha the utility wont install on the old hard drive, I get this NT error and then terminates the install. After 3 days of tiresome searching ive only found a few hopes. I could buy a USB floppy drive, Some said this worked when a normal floppy didnt. I could try slipstreaming my new xp cd with raid drivers in it but its really complicated and hard for me to understand. Well guys i know thats alot but these are my problems, Trust me i need some help here cause im about at the end of my rope here. |

Viktors,
One thing you to check is if the floppy cable is pluhhed in correctly. It's easy to reverse them. And in the BIOS see what the boot order is. The floppy should be first.
