all looks fine for me. Personally I would upgrade your CPU to the X2 3800 Dual Core, I think it would be worth the extra $50. But that's your call.

Thanks for the look, I am getting the AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego 2.2GHz now as I can always upgrade later... as prices come down even further. Is there really going to be that much difference between the 2? At this time I have a p3 733 mhz.. so even going to the AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego 2.2GHz will be a dramatic change for me.

Go for the dual core Athlon 64 3800+ x2 if you can afford it. Dual core is the way to go now.

the difference won't be HUGE but it should be noticable if you ever do any multitasking.

now would I buy the 3700 and later on 'upgrade' to the 3800? no that would be a waste of money (you'd in the end spend like $250).

either get the 3700 now and dont bother upgrading until you can get something that is twice as fast, or go straight to the 3800.

we are advocating dual cores a lot because it's like your getting 2 processors for the price of one.

Doesn't really matter which processor you get - they are both fast. The video card is going to be your limiting factor if you are a gamer, it's not current generation. Buy that ram NOW before the price goes up again, DDR is getting more and more expensive by the day. You also bought an IDE hard drive, not optimum, everything is going SATA these days.

No optical drive? You need one, I recommend a Lite-On DVD burner.

When you build, do NOT connect the card reader until AFTER Windows is installed or you will have drive letter issues.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103562
and will my mb support this processor?

While not exactly a bad psu, the TR2's arent known for their long term reliability. I would highly suggest something in the 400W range from FSP/SparklePower, Silverstsone, Seasonic, Antec, Enermax, Enhance, Zalman...
