I want to put a DFI lan party motherboard in a new case with ati crossfire X1900 cards .I am totally new to building and wondered what sort of power supply i should use i.e 350,450 or 500 watt psu.Im using a AMD duel core 3800 processor

atleast a 450watt. The more the better. But buy from a good company.(antec seasonic, enermax,fsp...)
What motherboard do you have? Dfi lan party___? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103937 this is a good one. And its modular to boot.(wires can be removed if need be. So you only use what you need) |

DFI boards like power. Here is there recommended list of PSU's for DFI boards. If you plan on the two card configuration, you better plan on one of the PSU's off the top of the list. None are cheap, but all are excellent quality.
