Buid my own PC: how easy and how much $ can I save
At CyberPower, this following PC build would (currently) cost $1,760:

Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse INTERNAL 12in1 Flash Media Reader/Writer Build-in USB 2.0 Ports 1.44 MB FLOPPY DRIVE Microsoft® Windows® XP Home Edition w/ Service Pack 2(Microsoft® Windows® XP Home Edition w/ Service Pack 2). Two questions-1) how easy would it be for a beginner (to building PC's) to build this; and 2) how much $ could I shave off of CyberPower's $1,760 pricetag if I (successfully) built the above PC myself? Please respond, I've been looking into this subject and learning all I can for some time now...thank you in advance. |

Well all you really have to do is follow this step by step guide - http://www.pcmech.com/byopc/step/1/
You have to have some knowledge it isn't really easy but not really that difficult. Saving money you would be able to build a better quality pc than that one you posted. Might save $300 or $400. It depends |

I don't see a location under your name but since Cyber Power appears to be a US based company, I'll assume you are a US resident. Head over to Newegg.com and find the prices for your list of parts. This will give you the best idea on potential savings. Building your own is not difficult. You just need basic mechanical skills and have the ability to follow directions.
