Just built first computer, PSU problem?

HI everyone. This was the first computer I built, I helped with another one once, but this time it was all by myself. I have an Asus P5NSLI Mobo, Intel 6600 Core 2 Duo, BFG7600GT, 250GB Western Digital HD, a DVD burner and an D-Link wireless card. Anyway, I just downloaded speedfan, and under the battery readings, the +3.3V reading is showing 0.0. Is this normal? It is a Hiper Modular Power Supply, 580 Watts, ATX+12V. What could be going on here? Did I forget to plug something in? Thanks for any help!

Josh

Does the computer run apart from that?
Why would a tower computer require a battery reading apart from the 3volt motherboard battery? and I doubt if that would register on a PSU analyzer.

Other than that, it does seem to be working fine. It has, however, shut down twice now while I was browsing the internet.

That sounds more like a heat related issue, try working the machine hard with lots of applications open, then shut it down and reboot fast into the BIOS, check the temperatures in the BIOS before it has a chance to cool down.

Speed Fan, in most cases, is good for a quick reference. Try not to rely on it for extreme accuracy.

What temps should I be looking for? Speedfan is showing my processor running at 41 degrees right now with not much load. That is still lower than my old AMD 3400+ though. The case doesn't feel very warm either. Also, the Phoeniz BIOS that came with the mobo didn't seem to have anywhere to check temps, at least not from when I was in them earlier

-Id suggest you first run Memtest-Google it.
