What hard drive(s) are you running? Are they getting full? I have a similar setup in my nephew's PC. His didn't really start slowing down until the hard drive was busting at the seams.

1. You could upgrade the processor to a X2 3800
2. You could/should upgrade that psu to a quality unit. 3. Perhaps a upgrade to a 7600GT? (New video card) 4. Add another Gig of ram.

The thing is that i have TONS of stuff i cant get rid of that i need to save. Mr.Ferrari, Which x2 3800 is better? I see a "windsor" and a "manchester" on newegg. Also, what psu do you suggest then? I dont really do too many graphics intensive stuff, so not so sure about upgrading vid card. Yea, i kno i should get more ram(the current ones are pretty cheap), but what do you suggest? Which brand/type is good with the x2 core? |

1. You need the Manchester, the windsor is for Socket AM2.
2. Enhance 400W or Enhance 500W<----ONLY get 500W if you need to future proof for anything except a highpowered dual card configuration. You will be fine with the 400W. 3. Oh ok, in that case your current card is just fine. 4. You need DDR 400. Get something of quality from Corsair or G.Skill, 2x512mb sticks. |

Don't bother spending money on any upgrades except bigger hard drives. Full drives is the source of your issues. 320gb SATA's are pretty cheap now. Do that *before* thinking of any other upgrades.
