Booting difficulties-please help

First build at least turns on and I can enter bios.
Beyond that I'm STUCK.

When I turn the power on and do not attempt to enter CMOS I get this message:

PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel Boot Agent.
No Bootable device--insert boot disk and press any key

When I turn power on and attempt to enter CMOS I get this message:

No device detected

At this point the screen goes into a menu titled:

One Time Boot Menu Key Detected
Floppy A: (reads my dvd model and size accurately)

Then I hit enter and get the first message again...it's a bit of a vicious circle.
Please Help, What do I do Next?????

Immediately enter the Bios and set your first boot device to your CD drive. Double-check the connections of all other drives as well.

helmgt01: Please keep all your problems with this first built in one thread. With multiple threads going on regarding your first POST it's hard to keep track of what's going on. I've replied to a few of your other threads but keep seeing new threads about your first build problems popping up.

Also, you must include the system specs when asking for help.

Right now it seems you're at the point where you have to install the OS. Enter the BIOS and set the first boot device to the CD-ROM. Put the Windows CD in the drive and then Save and Exit the BIOS. The system will reboot and the installer will take over.

If you have any other questions about your first build please keep them to one thread.
